News Nintendo Direct announced for February 8th

I hope they don't show Zelda

Just 40 minutes of farming sims, C-list JRPGs and Miyamoto showing off mobile games
For your pitence, they will show Batman : The Nolan Asylum, with just Alfred saying "Some people just want to see the world burn" every time you get hit and when you finish off any single enemy, you see death of Talia Al Ghul. In full screen. At 144p. With a 2xSai filter applied. And the game loads 64 seconds each time it have to display the clip and afterwards to resume the game.

OK so here are my predictions for the February 2023 Nintendo Direct, focused primarily on games from the first half of the year, for a theoretical duration of 45 minutes:

Here are my Direct predictions. I’m actually Shigeru Miyamoto’s son, so I’m very certain on these.
- 2D Mario opens off! All four playable characters from SMB2/3D World return with a new celshaded artstyle. Very similar to the SM3DW style in Maker 2. July release date. Titled “Super Mario Dreamscape”

- Batman Arkham Collection. Been in the works for ages now, tying in with…

- Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Cloud. Looks very…underwhelming.

- NSO! Super Smash Bros. will come later in the year, treated as a super big announcement.

- We Love Katamari Reroll. Looks even better than the Demacy remaster from a couple years back. June release

- Octopath II reminder and demo announcement, right next to

- Bahamut Lagoon HD2D remake! Dragon Quest III information will be saved for May.

- Mario Kart 8 Booster Pass 4! Includes Los Angeles Laps and Amsterdam Drift

- Mario and Rabbids DLC. Talks about an Ubisoft presentation on it within the next week. Yawn.

- Kirby reminder! Talks a little bit about the new postgame content.

- SaGa Emerald Beyond

- Splatoon 3: Secret of the Salmonids DLC teaser! Releases in June.

- F-Zero GX-A announcement! Has content from AX added and online multiplayer. Looks very stunning.

- Little reel of other third party stuff. Mentions that one wizard game in addition to Castlevania Requiem ports and a new Naruto game.

- One more thing…

- The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom overview. March Direct focused on it announced.

No Metroid Prime, sorry! That’s being saved for a July treehouse event.

Hell yeah! Nintendo Direct Eve!

The one time all the diametrically opposed Switch fandoms join together for hope and celebration rather than non-stop roasting of each other, Nintendo, and insiders lol.

I hope each one of you cool peeps finds at least one neat thing to be excited about!

Pictured: Various warring Nintendo fandoms temporarily put their pitchforks down for the annual "setting expectations" dance, having finally received sufficient quantities of "reassurance" from trusted sources that a Nintendo Direct is indeed imminent.

Please people stop making me imagine a BoTW themed farming/action game, now I really want one
You don't actually want one and are simply getting caught up in the moment after seeing that image.

You would also much rather prefer whatever Tears of the Kingdom will be.

In fact, you are probably not even serious about this and are simply "meming" or joking around!

Ha! Caught red-handed!

Son, I told you not to leak the direct. You're grounded

I don’t have too much left on my wish list but I would like to see more Wii/GameCube remasters (WaveRace, F-Zero… please 20$ per game like the 3D All-Stars Collection, not 60$) and a real “new” 2D Mario would be awesome!

I mean yeah obviously I'd prefer Tears of the Kingdom to be what it is but I'm a fairly big fan of farming + RPG games and a Zelda one sounds hype

All your predictions are missing the token Disney Magical Princess / World game for 8 year old girls that is inevitably in every Direct for some reason.

Note: This does not count Disney Illusion Island, which looks awesome (and I think will be in the Direct with a release date)

I don't think my fake 4chan leak ever got posted here so here it is as boring old regular predictions

Direct will be announced in February 7. Focusing on games releasing in the first half of 2023 including The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Closer: The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. New gameplay trailer, reveals the game’s version of dungeons and crazy looking powers Link can do with his corrupted arm. Still releasing on May 12. Aonuma presents new gameplay footage, with a new haircut and wearing the toga from the E3 2021 trailer.
God I hope Marvel Ultimate Alliance 4 happens sooner rather than later.
Hopefully with a bit more playable villains this time. Bring playable Green Goblin, Sabretooth, and Doom in the base game.

Oh here's another boring prediction no one would care about but me: Star Trek Resurgence is also coming to Switch when it releases in April. Booyah.

it's sad but i'm at a point with the Paper Mario series now where I honestly don't even want them touching TTYD because i'm convinced they'd just mess it up

just dump it as is on the eventual GameCube NSO in like 5 years or whatever
