not to insult anyone but yes, games with a higher skill level where the enjoyment is most out of what you can accomplish in the game by gameplay polishing your own skills are becoming a niche compared to "easier to digest" games with a heavier focus on the storyWish better action games like DMC5 could sell as much. Guess the pathway to sales is by turning your franchise into an accessible, story-focused action game with pointless RPG elements.
I liked the story in Dad of War, but gameplay really didnt click with me, and I liked in in 3 and "4"
