Isn't Dying Light 2 supposed to release a cloud game for Switch this month? I'm curious if it's still set to launch

oh for sure, I’m definitely haunted by that specific aesthetic sensibility and many others

I’m just surprised it’s not a) more drab and bleak or b) even heavier on the bloom

@Derachi Started Playing Yakuza 0. Think I’m gonna get hooked as it has the right mix of story, ridiculousness, and Shenmue/Kunio-Kun with modern gameplay sensibilities. I also am sure that the ancillary stuff (which I haven’t gotten to yet as I’m still in intro story/tutorials it seems) will give just enough distraction to keep it interesting between combat.

Just checked Famiboards before bed because my β€œsomeone is talking about Yakuza” senses tingled. Glad to see that sense is as sharp as ever.

So I guess the biggest promo Bandai gave to Digimon was to do a sponsor live stream with Kronii, a Hololive EN VTuber (low-key she is great). I haven't seen sponsor stream for other people.
 
still really weird to me that they're skipping japan for advance wars. i know the series is small there but still, just do the localization. it can't be that expensive.
 
Having the worst fucking cold right in the middle of summer is equal parts hilarious and puzzling, not to mention annoying and absolutely disgusting, and should be illegal.

It looks like Digimon doesn't need any promos or marketing at all. It's currently steadily climbing up the eShop bestsellers list. It basically sells itself.

I've just remember that, 18 years ago, Nintendo decided to launch just in Portugal and Spain a GBA exclusive edition - the Game Boy Advance SP Girls Edition. With pearl pink color, aimed at "fashion chicks", it was heavily promoted alongside Disney and Kirby games and it had a TV spot that was airing at all times that was... well, judge yourselves:

In my state, this dude came right to our house with his pamphlet, said nutso stuff, left, and once I got a chance to look at it, aside from a few bullet points about how conservative he is, it had 5-6 Ronald Reagan "memes" on it. Just the Gipper's picture and big letters. Weirdest thing I've seen on a pamphlet myself, though I'm sure, like you said, there's got to be some crazier things out there, haha! :ROFLMAO:

Really like the Baba Yaga Chicken House!
 
I've enjoyed Live Alive, but I really think they needed to go a little further when modernising things. Especially the final chapter.

forcing me to trek across the map to physically swap party members was utterly tedious, so I just concentrated on 4 characters to finish the game. Now the boss re-run at the end is punishing me because some characters haven't been levelled up. Equally, locking robot levelling behind items that were difficult to find was very silly.

You know how I know Nintendo is dumb? They could start selling color variants of their N64 controller for $60 a pop and I would buy every last one. I would even cop for $70.

And yet! No such thing exists.
