@Magic-Man My cat’s vet appointment was today and everything went well. She will have a few days to recover. I will likely not be buying any video games for a while. Not like august has anything for me anything so I thank you again. Once I feel like I can with my hand, I am starting Xenoblade next week

Just saw Everything Everywhere All At Once, and holy guacamole, it's one of the best films I've seen in a long while.

It's clever, funny, poignant, and bursting with creativity, and the always awesome Michelle Yeoh is at the top of her game. I genuinely teared up at the climax, and this does not happen to me often.

In a world of endless sequels, remakes, and reboots, it was just so damn refreshing to see something so breathlessly original. Cannot recommend it enough.

True. Cause Ni no Kuni 2 was 30% early in the year and 50% recently. Ill wait then. Too many games to play anyway

Yeah so Hack came out in March. First sale is now 5 months later. Second sale should be by Christmas and yeah that has good odds of being a 50%. Plus I have tons to work on and other stuff I want to grab. Like I’m aiming for Livealive at targets B2G1F in a few months

From what I've seen, a surprising number of politicians' current platform is literally just "be a troll."
We've gone from voters who look for someone who shares their values, to voters who look for someone who offends the competition. I'm disheartened.

Oh sweet, someone who also just watched it! My partner and I saw it this past weekend.

That was cinema. Phenomenal movie from top to bottom. A great example of using wild style and chaos to sell the narrative and themes of nihilism vs existenalism and generational trauma. Do not miss this one!

It’s definitely the best film I’ve watched this year, I think. I just appreciate that there’s a movie that really went crazy with the multiverse concept. Having people do weird things to fudge with probabilities was a stroke of genius.

In general I think this year has been pretty good for movies. Also just watched Nope and while I think it’s my least favorite of Jordan Peele’s stuff, it was still a solid spook.

God I really hate the general aesthetic of games from that era. Bloom radiating from everything. Based on the reviews though, it does look like it was a decent game though.
