Will this be THE week(TM)??

I say no because they'll probably go all in on Mario Strikers promotion, but I was also adamant of February 16 and they jumped that one a week earlier than I thought...

THIS IS FOR XBOX, NOT NINTENDO

But still, a deeper showcase for Xbox games and trailers the day after the Xbox + Bethesda presentation is pretty cool.

My daughter was born on Saturday. Got back home last night. Wife has a decent recovery to make but everyone will be fine. Having two under two will be fun…
Congrats!!
It's interesting how you play the game you designed so much differently than anyone else will. I guess that's why play testers and QA are a thing.
This subject always makes me remember when I went to a boardgaming event that had a release party for a game going on.
The designer offered the table I was sitting to try his game, he himself taught us the rules and left while we were playing. He then came back during the game to see how we were doing, and after a few seconds told us laughing that he never saw even during playtesting a group playing the game in the agressive manner we were (btw the game only has indirect interaction).

assuming nintendo does the marketing for silksong, i guess that can be their one thing in the summer game fest kick off thingie.

And then you get to run into the joy that is your testers start getting really good at the game…

I think I know what may have led to me having 90 or so games that I never played or barely played on Steam.

I kept having channels like these subscribed to and eventually just assumed that I "had to play it" because "everyone else was playing it."

Never what I actually wanted to play...

Fine by me, I'm not trying to balance the game in a way that makes it especially difficult or challenging if you know what you're doing.

I will do that once I resume my interval training

I'm super duper ill today folks. Not going into work and if this headache goes I'll pick up Triangle Strategy and continue the golden route.

hold up never mind rolled over in my sleep to check my phone and saw that but I guess I was actually still literally dreaming

The trade-off is that, in Replicant's case, you are going to replay that same game* a couple of times more.

*not exactly, but close enough
That's what I was afraid of with Automata, hearing about having to do New Game Plus multiple times. I was surprised how radically the game changed in showing the different character perspectives, so it really wasn't like playing the same game over and over like I was afraid of.

Now with Replicant, even though I am gonna have to actually replay the same game, I'm at least invested enough that I want to, for the extra context (also I'm levelled and worded-up to a point where I'm confident in breezing through).

Congratulations!!!!

I've started jogging regularly again and today I didn't know what music to listen to so I put on the Sonic Adventure soundtrack in honour of @chocolate_supra and I was noticeably slower
Luckily thanks to Nier I was emotionally prepared for this twist ending. LOL

Actually yeah, as much as I prefer Senoue's music overall, Ohtani goes ham with the speedy percussion. I'm sure there's a music term for this but I dunno what it is.

CHIBI-ROBO IS PRO-SOCIAL
Would that mean Mario Party is... Party-Social?

What do you call the audio version of a shitpost, because I have created it

After buying Lost Judgment on sale I now own all of RGG's games on Xbox. And I haven't played any of them lol.

I still can't wrap my head around the fact that lots of people go to theaters during a global pandemic.
It’s all about mitigating risks. I went with my dad to a cinema that had a room with bergere-style seatings organized in terraces (so it had like 1/2 the seats of a normal room) and they also leave 1 seat between parties, so the room was pretty empty.
On top of that we wore KN-95 facemasks all the time and we both have 4 doses of the covid vaccine.
Oh and the cinema has an “anti-microbe copper plated” AC system (the copper does nothing to covid but my country has a fetish with copper).

So yeah, the risk can’t be zero but you can still keep it near zero.

One of the advantages of living in a non-English speaking country is that if you go see a movie in its original version, especially in the middle of the day, I’m pretty sure I’ll be the only person in the room. But yeah, the idea of being in a packed theater with a lot of people right now would make me anxious
And that too, we watched it with subtitles at 2PM on a sunday. It was mostly empty when we arrived.

Even tho Xbox’s showcases are so long. They’re rather poorly paced. I think Last year was decently paced tho, but cluttered with a bunch of CG trailers.

Also, it’s obvious by now that CG trailers work really well for marketing and reception. But man, I really dislike how much reveals they do this way. A lot of their trailers never show the actual game being played just CG. It’s marketing usually being “this company is making this concept!” Which is hard to care about when you just wanna see how to play it lol.
