currently has a Playstation Store page, as well as a trophy list.
the development notes are pretty interesting, from what i heard. this was a student project developed by Sumo Digital's game development academy. and considering it worthy of a proper release, they got in contact with the current Zool IP holder and were approved to sell it digitally.

notably, the store description mentions they're adding some extra local multiplayer content for this release.
This new release includes three, completely new local multiplayer party modes. Don your favourite Zool mask and compete with up to 3 friends by grabbing the most clutter in “Zool's Gold”, holding onto Krool’s crown in, “Rool of Zool”, and booting balls into the back of the Nth dimension in “Ball Brawl”.

no word on other consoles, but i wouldn't be surprised if a Switch port is at least being considered later.

Is this the plaformers that had lots of Chupa Chups advertising in it? It brings back memories for sure of trying to play a platformer on an Amiga keyboard.

Looks like this was already released on Steam a couple of years ago.

It was originally developed by Gremlin Graphics, which like Sumo was founded in Sheffield, England.
