So FF7 is in the lead so far, which is what I figured. But it is surprising that more than 30% of the voters don't see it getting nominated at all. Interesting.

Helldivers 2 is definitely the wild card. GaaS games pretty much never get nominated for these, but Helldivers 2 launched about as well as you can expect for one.
It’ll be interesting to see if its popularity can help overcome the positive but not overwhelming critical response.
