Edit: on second thought maybe not? I was thinking more along the lines of “talent wins” but the article doesn’t really go into a ton of historical detail unfortunately.

One, I believe. 2023. I believe the Switch had been the best selling console in the U.S. from 2018 through 2022.

Although, if we look at software sales including digital sales from the eShop, I’m sure every system had software took up quite a few spots in the Top 20 the past few years and that the term “dominated” just wouldn’t ring as true for the U.S.

Japan has been noticeably dominated both in hardware and software by Nintendo for years now.
