Australia went to colour tv in 1975 and in typical aussie fashion we made it into this.



Much more fun than what other countries like the yanks and france did.
 
Britain, rather baffingly. used Snooker as a tech demo for color televisions. with a tournament happening once per year. people still on Black & White TV had to use the commentary to understand what was going on. with one infamous quote from host Ted Lowe proclaiming "for those of you who are watching in black and white, the pink is next to the green."
