Wonder how much the Switch version contributed.
Was it good on Switch?Wonder how much the Switch version contributed.
It’s a great port. Was it good on Switch?
Not good enough to earn a nomination here in the best rpgs list thoughWonderful game. Such a rich world, brimming with memorable stories.
The port was very impressive, given the hardware they were working with. Probably one of the most impressive third party ports on Switch to this day.Was it good on Switch?
I honestly didn’t even think of it, not because it isn’t deserving but because it doesn’t really register as a Switch game to me. I mean, I know it’s ON Switch so of course it qualifies but I was steering toward games that are either Switch exclusive or have a lot of Switch bonuses like DQ11 or something. That and Switch just has too many great RPGsNot good enough to earn a nomination here in the best rpgs list though
Everyone was writing such detailed lists. I have a tablet with no keyboard. Didn't feel like writing one.
Oh, interesting. Would you mind posting a link? I missed it and can't seem to find the thread via the search. ;-(Not good enough to earn a nomination here in the best rpgs list though

Easily one of the best RPGs of last gen - and perhaps THE standout RPG of the modern era.Not good enough to earn a nomination here in the best rpgs list though

Weebs?but I think it's home to a very specific audience
Yeah, that's probably the most stand-out aspect about the game for me, too. I've never liked it as much as many others did, mostly due to how unsatisfied I ended up with its movement feel and combat system (as well as long the ass loading on PS4 back then), but the quests were some of the best I've ever enjoyed playing and have become the benchmark for me since. This game redefined the term sidequest for me. They are absolutely incredible here.
Did they disable the cross save that was initially on the switch version?I contributed to this. Fucking triple-dipped.
Gog.com version, Switch version and PS4 version.
God, i hope they re-enable cross save on the Switch version soon, i miss playing it on the hybrid.
They didnt port the Next Gen update yet, so due to version differences the save can't be shared.Did they disable the cross save that was initially on the switch version?
Oh, yeah, the word re-enable tripped me up. But I get what you mean now. I guess if you tried doing the save share between Steam and Switch right now it would error out? I wonderThey didnt port the Next Gen update yet, so due to version differences the save can't be shared.
It does, in fact, i got the PS4 version to upgrade it to PS5 and keep playing there.Oh, yeah, the word re-enable tripped me up. But I get what you mean now. I guess if you tried doing the save share between Steam and Switch right now it would error out? I wonder
Dang. I saw in the patch notes for the update they released a couple weeks ago they mentioned the Switch version again and reaffirmed it’s coming! Think they may have said soon?It does, in fact, i got the PS4 version to upgrade it to PS5 and keep playing there.
What's even more amazing about the quests is how they change depending on what else has happened or what Geralt should/shouldn't know. It's absolutely mindblowing all the different scenarios they accounted for or how they went about doing itYeah, that's probably the most stand-out aspect about the game for me, too.
