i'd highly recommend reading the full article from the person that dumped the cartridge, andlabs. but i'll also provide a basic summary.

the Wondermega was a very high-end combination Mega Drive/SEGA CD unit that was manufactured by Victor back in 1992.
alongside the expected functionality. the hardware contained two extra features, microphone inputs for playing karaoke CDs, and a MIDI out port.

the WonderMIDI (notably developed by Game Arts, the studio mainly known for making the classic RPG series Lunar and Grandia) was the sole piece of software using the latter. being a cartridge that allowed you to load specific "MIDIworld" CDs containing MIDI audio onto your synthesizer.
a companion CD for the WonderMIDI including some sample songs was also made, but that is currently undumped.

in terms of actually getting the software to run on emulators. only one is currently able to reach the title screen. and even then, the sole MIDIworld CD that's been dumped online is in a format the emulator doesn't support.
