For those wondering where this comes from, there was a promotional video projected onto Shibyua Crossing celebrating the end of 2018 (the year of the dog) where Mario gains a dog power up reminiscent of the Cat Suit. This animation is its only time this power has been seen so far, but the video itself is 100% official.
