Discussion Switch 2 Box art possibility

How will the switch 2 handle box art. will it be confusing, put a simple 2 or will they make it larger

The same way almost every other new console in history managed box art. They’ll use branding which is mostly distinguishable from the previous console.

Will they do ONLY FOR format which easlily conveys it's exclusive for this specific console

Maybe take inspiration from one of their older box art format.

I wonder if they might make a slightly larger (or smaller) box to go with different logos and stuff. That would help make more of clear visual difference.

Instead of regular three dimensional boxes, physical Switch 2 games will be shipped in tesseracts
 
Hopefully just a small logo in the corner like current Switch box art. Though, I imagine the color scheme will be something else to differentiate it from Switch 1 box art.
 
I think the square in the corner is pretty ugly

So hopefully something new. Either rounded, or a banner that goes all the way across.

A colour change from red as the key colour feels like the easiest way for a big, simple change that’s visable at a distance

I’d imagine cross gen games will have a Switch version and Switch 2 box option like with PS4 and PS5, with maybe the Switch version (hopefully) being upgradable.

I hope the game boxes are smaller

Such a waste of space with how small the game cards are

I am gonna be hyper specific on this lol. Switch red is #fe0016, so too keep that nintendo red why not go with another red, scarlet #fe2400.

Kidding aside, I think its gonna be the same with just the switch 2 logo on it.
