Discussion RIP Michael Reaves (Gargoyles, Batman: The Animated Series & many more)

Writer Michael Reaves sadly passed away on March 20th in Los Angeles. Reaves was much loved for his contribution to classic animated series including Gargoyles (which he created alongside Greg Weisman and others, writing 12 out of first season's 13 episodes with his wife and story editing the expanded second season), Batman: The Animated Series (which earned him an Emmy award) & Batman: Mask Of The Phantasm amongst many others. He also wrote a number of novels in the Star Wars Extended Universe.

Reaves lived with Parkinson's Disease, writing a blog concerning his experiences dealing with the disease and its effects. Reaves worked extensively with co-authors between 2004 and 2015, including his daughter to continue writing.

A legend of 80's and 90's animation! RIP.

This guy was a very big part of my childhood.

He also wrote one of the most memorable episodes of Ghostbusters: The Boogieman Cometh
