Nothing surprising in the official changelog, at least. This needed to happen so the controllers could be used.

Last night I was playing Metroid Dread and the notification for the update appeared but I didn’t bother with updating the Switch for more stability.
Big mistake, around 30 mins after that there was an earthshake here, so I put my Switch on the floor and updated it. Problem solved.
