News Nintendo Power (the podcast) has aired it's final episode, ending the brand once more.

the final episode, the note about it being the last episode starts at 1:01

it's been running since 2017 shortly after the release of the Nintendo Switch, taking over for the legendary magazine it was named after. which famously ended back in 2012 around the time the Wii U launched.

the host, Chris Slate. has stated it could potentially come back for an occasional one-off special. but the days of having consistent Nintendo Power content are finally over.

Krysta commented on this show on the Nontendo podcast, she sort of made it sound like Chris's hands were tied and he couldn't make what he wanted to. Not sure exactly what went on, but hopefully everyone involved has peace with it.

I only listened to the first few episodes. It became clear pretty quickly that they weren't ever going to talk more about stuff than what one would already know by following Nintendo stuff closely, but it could be fun to hear what NoA staff was playing and what they were enjoying about the new games.
