Since it has been mentioned that the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild would take place in the same Hyrule and "reuse" the map to some extent, I thought it would be fun to see what features / assets / misc. will make the cut in the next game or what new additions they may add. Please answer each question below with a "Yes" or No" and we can revisit this thread after the game has come out to see who got the most right.

There is no rhyme or reason to the questions. I simply typed out whatever popped into my head in whatever order.

1. Will the weapon breaking mechanic carry over?
2. Will there be a hookshot?
3. Will the same "item pick up sound" be made?
4. Will they use the Great Fairies again for armor upgrades?
5. Will the horse-head-tents return?
6. Will Beedle get a new backpack?
7. Will Terry Town be made official canon?
8. Will the Master Sword take on a new form?
9. Will we be able to climb efficiently in the rain?
10. Will "Castle Town" be rebuilt?
11. Will the Great Plateau be accessible?
12. Will be have to hunt Korok Seeds again?
13. Will shrines return?
14. Will traditional heart pieces return?
15. Will there be a musical instrument to play?
16. Will link be able to pet the dogs?
17. Cats?
18. Will the Deku Tree and the Lost Woods be risen to the sky?
19. Will the Blood Moon rise again?

I will be sad if Horse Head tents do not return. They were so cozy and it was like a beacon of hope when I was stumbling around lost or weakened.
 
1. Yes, the weapon breaking mechanic will carry over. Moreover, the weapon managment UI will also remain unchanged.
2. Yes, there will be hooks, and there will be shots, and, at least one time, there will be a hookshot.
3. Yes, identical item pick up sounds are a key identifier of a sequel.
4. Yes, the Great Fairies have more tricks to teach young Link.
5. Yes, the horse-head-tents return. In fact, they never left. Some may have ended up stranded in the sky and are thinking about renovations to change to a Loftwing head.
6. Yes, Beedle will need a bigger backpack.
7. Yes, Terry Town is canon. Unfortunately, Link's contribution has been written out of the history books.
8. No, the Master Sword keeps its familiar form.
9. No, climbing in rain and complaining about climbing in rain is still for impatient losers.
10. Yes, Hyrule Castle Town will be rebuilt. However, don't expect too much for a start.
11. Yes, the Great Plateau will be made accessible.
12. Yes, Koroks will be hunted. Unclear on the "seeds".
13. Yes, shrines return as a concept, though none of the specific shrines from Breath of the Wild return. Re-used puzzles are allowed.
14. No, hearts have peaced out on tradition.
15. No, Kass' Accordion Training is a seperate game currently under development by the Wii Music team.

18. No, the Deku Tree and the Lost Woods remain rooted.
19. Yes, we'll see Ganon before the next Blood Moon rises.
20. Yes, not only will Zelda be playable, she gets top billing on the cover and posters and other marketing, as well as one of the two gameplay demonstrations during Nintendo's E3 Treehouse live coverage. If Covid had been defeated, Zelda would have been playable on the showfloor.
21. Yes, except the flame will be green.
22. No, what goes up must not come down.
23. No, not easily.
24. No, we will only be able to swim in the air.
25. No, nipples violate the design axiom that Link must be smooth.
