Discussion If you peeps had a house to rent out/Airbnb , how much would you price it for?

There is no way to answer this question without knowing the location and details about the property. Prices vary wildly within the US alone, let alone around the world. I'd say morally its better to sell the house, investing in the housing market is a major cause of home unaffordability in the current market that's screwing over an entire generation.

I’m not going into super specifics because this is just a hypothetical question. It’s a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom (with jacuzzi) it has AC and the house has no major issues. It’s near one of the best beaches in the area and a really good casino that gets a lot of traffic.

Find similar hotel and charge 2/3 to 3/4 or so. (hotel with jacuzzi on Beach would be rare or pretty luxurious I guess). Or look up a similar air bnb, and adjust price based on compared quality of the home and location to yours. Lower price until someone messages.

Id say consider long term renting instead, both for consistent cash flow and moral concerns. But for a luxurious house it's hard to imagine it best value isn't for holidays.

This seems like a troll thread after you posted the exact same topic elsewhere and got exactly the same replies. You claim it’s all hypothetical/“for fun” but the only three possible responses are:

1) Genuine advice, mostly boiling down to “see what the rates are in other properties nearby and do that/undercut them”
2) Pointing out that without details, they can’t give you genuine advice
3) Genuine ire that you’re participating in an unethical, societally deleterious system and advising you to do the right thing and sell it. (I already know from elsewhere that you won’t do this for reasons you have never elaborated on.)

And now we’ve had all three responses, so I don’t know what else you’re hoping for here.

What’s the point of this thread? Without knowing what country and exactly what beach you are talking about, how would we know. It’s a global video game forum, it’s extremely unlikely many members live near the area you aren’t going to mention, making it utterly pointless other than garnering general responses about being a landlord.

Sell it to someone who won’t rent/airbnb it. Only morally correct thing to do.
