Discussion Fireaxis announces they are working on the next Civilization game; Jake Solomon is out as Studio Head, Heather Haven is new Studio Head

Damn, Jake Solomon is leaving? I still remember him from those early XCOM reboot days and the enthusiasm he brought to it.

Civ 6 was a step down from Civ 5 but the DLC made it stand out on it's own as a really good and fun game. The leader pass was weird and it came with some weird game breaking bug that went unfixed for weeks.

So I'm excited for Civ 7 but weary because I think the dev team is on the decline.
 
Damn, XCOM 3 really isn't happening any time soon?

Anyways I hope Civ 7 has full mod support from day 1, that was my big problem with Civ 6 compared to 5
