Hardware:
Nintendo Switch family (includes OLED, Lite and OG) 86,572 (this week), 3,373,592 (YTD)
Switch OLED 55,646 (this week), 1,906,368 (YTD)

Xbox Series 12,179 (this week), 221,769 (YTD)

Great week for Sony. PS5 finally passes the Wii U launch aligned. Good week for Nintendo and Microsoft too.

Would be a shame if Sony was sitting on PS5 stock for months just waiting for their price increase to go into effect..

I wonder how DQX is doing on the eshop. Cause it seems that SE decided not to stock up this week, maybe its to push more digital but who knows.

Very well for sure, they've claimed these spots for a while (Octopath and Overcooked were on sale)

Dang both editions. Fingers cross they greenlit a western release.

Cool to see Octopath still charting, even if its a sale.

Splat3 selling 300k in the third? week is insane given the number of games that have weaker opening week sales. Congrats to that team!

Yea it is kinda funny/sad that PS5 suddenly get a nice boost right after the price hike.

DioField just barely selling more on Switch than PS4/PS5 combined is interesting to see
Interestingly the game has a much lower metascore on Switch than on Playstation. Its the same game but Switch reviewer had been more critical about it for some reason.

Anyway Playstation games are much more frontloaded in sales whereas Switch games have high launch sales too but tend to sell for a longer period of time. So in a few month time the Switch version of Diofield will probably outsold all other versions combined by a good margin.

Agreed, and to add to this, Splatoon is dominating the conversation on Switch right now, so most Switch users might put off buying this for now.

That is interesting. I wonder if there’s more comparisons to Fire Emblem for the Switch reviews? Not like SRPGs are the most popular genre and FE is probably the entry point to them for a lot of critics looking at Nintendo games.
