One Piece Odyssey not even reaching half of Pirate Warriors 4 numbers doesn't look good considering it had more budget and better advertising.

Sony already off to a better start this year with PS5 HW sales. Still looks like they’re losing a lot of JP software sales due to the units not staying in the region.

Don't worry, the Switch late port will save the day!

No, it won't.

I could beleive it. We already have cases like Demon Slayer selling almost as much as the original release (115,036 vs 90885) or Xenoverse 2 which the switch version ended selling more than the PS4 version in total sales.

Oh, yeah, it is perfectly possible. To be honest, I was being a bit facetious because I'm a bit annoyed that a One Piece game on a Nintendo system is a matter of "if" and not "when".

Woah woah. I did not realise the Switch is not that far behind from the NDS in Japan. 5 more million to beat the DS huh...? I would never thought that would be possible.

Actually... it will. Switch late ports from Namco did do pretty well on Famitsu lists. Like Kakarot.
Yeah, I actually agree with this. Like I said to another user:

Pointing this one out in particular since it seemed super weird that GBA still had 2+ million in it even after DS had exploded. Turns out it didn't. For one, seems like a typo, Famitsu has GBA at 15.47m through that week. The other issue (which seems to apply to all of them) is that the first number is from weekly sales data while the last number is from shipment data. But those never match in the end, so it makes all these systems look like they had much more active late lives. Here it looks like PS2 has nearly 5m to go, whereas Famitsu has it gaining 3m before stopping counting. Whether you use Famitsu numbers or shipment numbers GBA has maybe a few hundred thousand to gain, not 2.3m.
