Taiko has a nice debut. Another all Switch Top 10.

Hardware:
Nintendo Switch family (includes OLED Lite and OG) 64,839 (this week), 1,910,468 (YTD)
Switch OLED 41,302 (this week), 1,026,193 (YTD)

Switch holds, OLED had a good week and crosses a million for the year, PS5s recover and Xbox sells more than last week. Good hardware week.

Snow Bros joins Pocky and Rocky for games that I never thought would chart.

Nice!

Isn't it crazy that Minecraft doesn't have more than 2.6 million sales considering what a true evergreen it's been for years and years? I thought it would've sold more than Ring Fit, although I know that's a huge hit too.

minecraft is a game that would have a high digital ratio, I think. so it's probably over 3M nwo

It also didn't release in retail until 2018 (so a year of sales 100% untracked) and has been in the top 10 eshop sales of every year. Right now is probably around 4m+

If im reading this right, Switch is down 34% compared to same week last year, YTD down ~27%
I can't see Nintendo letting this go on in 2023 with no new hardware. Right?

I would say it depends on what the factors are that lead to this. I would even question if new hardware would necessarily reverse it all that much especially if they can’t massively supply it for 2023.

3 Pokiman games in the top 30 is insane.

Good to see Horizon making a comeback for ps5 as well
Pokemon BDSP is charting because is cheap like bomba bin cheap around 20$ nowadays due to retailers asking for a shippment too big during holidays and Legends killing the legs of BDSP. Under normal circumstances it would only be Legends/SWSH but is still impressive especially for SWSH
