LOL, this isn't a comment on the OP'er but calling Famitsu numbers "Media Create Sales" is disingenuous at best and deceptive at worst.

People seem to be loving this Kirby game, never played one myself but it looks kind of fun.

Breath of the Wild back in the top 10.

there wasn't even any gain. everyone just fell off while link didn't do anything

it's a shame to see Ghostwire bomb everywhere. one of those games where all the ingredients are there but they fucked up the baking

Yay Kirby! I wonder when it'll hit 2 million.

Surprising PS5 bump, though still no reflection of that in software. And I wonder what Microsoft will have Mikami make now that Ghostwire is out.

I think Chris probably keeps detailed records of all these charts and it was easier to retain the previous formatting than to complicate things by overhauling.

The thread name is the thread name for historical purposes. It’s very clear in the post that the Media Create stats are no longer tracked and that the info is coming from Famitsu.
Historical purposes? Famitsu data threads should be titled as Famitsu data threads.

Chris has been doing such threads under this banner for many years, even though plenty of other sales info is included (COMG, etc). Maybe let’s not derail the thread further griping about someone who’s not even present to defend himself.

Chris is a member of Famiboards but I agree that we should stop discussing how he names the Japanese (and East Asia) retail sales thread.

Does anyone know how Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Mario Party Superstars are doing compared to Kirby Star Allies and Super Mario Party respectively?

I realize it might be too early for any useful comparisons(especially for Kirby) but I'd be interested to see how some of these major follow-up Switch outings are stacking up, if anyone has that info.

Thank you both!

Interesting. Seems Kirby over performed quite a bit(I can see why personally) and Superstars is just a little under, but more or less in line with Super so far... in year 5 of a Nintendo console. That's pretty impressive, at least compared to what I remember of the later years of Wii and 3DS software fall offs.

Bodes well for other Nintendo sequels this year.(unless of course the games are bad or something)

Wonderful to see HAL's ambitious step forward for the series rewarded with strong sales. Well deserved, it's a superb game.

Looks like Ghostwire fizzled in Japan; being console exclusive to the PS5 turned out to be a big handicap. Lucky for them they're also on PC.

End of quartal shipments. Seems to be a thing every year for Sony, but the shipments are lower than last year.
