[Weekly sales of software and hardware] “Super Mario Wonder” ranks first for the 9th time in total! “Persona 3 Reload” and “Ryu ga Gotoku 8” are both doing well [2/5-2/11]
Sales ranking announced by Famitsu. This time we bring you a summary of estimated weekly game software and hardware sales from February 5th to February 11th, 2024.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder showed stable sales and returned to the top spot. It sold 16,978 copies, making it the ninth time it has topped the charts.
Second and third place went to Momotaro Dentetsu World and Mystery dungeon: Shiren the Furai 6 Toguro Island Exploration Record, both of which have sold over 10,000 copies this week.
Persona 3 Reload which was number one last week ranked fourth and tenth for the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 versions respectively.
The PS4 version of Ryu ga Gotoku 8 also came in 6th place and the PS5 version came in 9th place. In total Persona 3 Reload has sold 132,889 units and "Ryu ga Gotoku 8" has sold a total of 227,183. Both titles are doing well and we can expect continued sales in the future.
In line with these software sales the hardware sales are also steadily increasing with sales this week of 49,543 units for Nintendo Switch and 40,745 units for PS5.
