Yes, Zelda: TotK is actually Boosting Zelda: BOTW sales. I think this is because the Zelda games are single player storied games, however multiplayer games tank hard in sales when a sequel releases.

I still suspect it’s scalping or something given the weak yen. But it’s very weird if it’s not given Sony said earlier this year they’ve addressed their manufacturing and distribution issues in other territories.

Edit: I think previously it’s been thought that it might be F2P titles driving hardware sales?

We’ve thought of a combination of scalping, F2P, people playing PS4 titles, and high digital. I think that’s everything haha.

There must be a lot of genshin and apex players.
