Famitsu went with a pretty tasteless image this time.

Love the future we're heading to where every thumbnail in the future is just boobs.

My daughter growing up in a world where every image online (these images overwhelming chosen by men) is just drawn women in ridiculous poses showing as much ass and boobs as possible surely will have no negative effects.

PS5’s only top 10 game managing to barely outsell a resurgent RFA is a sight to behold

will ps5 even match ps4 at this point?
Seems doubtful to me. I can’t imagine the rumored Pro model is going to change the situation significantly.

It's very funny that Stellar Blade's online reputation is so helped by the fact that no one follows Korean game dev at all so its non-right wing defenders don't realize that the studio head exclusively uses AI art and barely draws anymore and just photoshops really bad AI hentai.

That also made Sony's devs humiliating themselves to praise Kim Hyung Tae as an artist (the studio head and "lead artist") much funnier, of course.

AI art being more universally disliked than pretty obvious misogyny is less cool though.

will ps5 even match ps4 at this point? Feel like Sony has just given up on Japan at this point
It won’t. It’s had 4 Holiday Seasons and a revised down forecast, while nobody wants a PS5 Pro, or cares for it. PS has been in domestic decline since the PS2, and the same was true from PSP to PS Vita, but no publication would report this with the same robustness as the Wii U era. It matters because it should never have taken S-E and other domestic publishers all this time to notice the shift in trends and change their approach.

If the Switch 2 keeps up the great momentum of its predecessor and the pricing is good for Japan, then these charts will look like a bloodbath. It already is dominated by Switch even now while it's quiet so I can't begin to imagine what it will look like in 2025.

True, but I personally find it far more terrifying that a daughter would grow up with a parent who's a war crimes denier.

So I guess this will be the Nintendo-published top 10 for Switch in Japan once all is said and done:

1. Animal Crossing: New Horizons
2. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
4. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
5. Splatoon 3
6. Pokémon Sword and Shield
7. Splatoon 2
8. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
9. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
10. Ring Fit Adventure

This will be (most likely) the worldwide Nintendo-published top 10:

1. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
2. Animal Crossing: New Horizons
3. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
4. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
5. Super Mario Odyssey
6. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
7. Pokémon Sword and Shield
8. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
9. Super Mario Party
10. New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe/Super Mario Bros. Wonder

Yeah man, I absolutely think you care about misogyny when your immediate response to me is this when you know your case is so bad that you don't even say the actual event.

Intriguing that TotK has outsold BotW in Japan, yet looks like it won’t even come close internationally 🤔

Real women posting real images of themselves all over social media (with not much clothing) to gain subscribers is far more degenerate than some made up video game character.

Yeah, I absolutely love it that you immediately started blaming women for over sexualizing women while we're discussing "I hate women: The game" from the makers of "I hate women and I can't draw: The game."

(Kim Hyung-Tae's art is so fucking bad. There's tons of artists that hate women out there, but it's incredible he's one of the ones whose seen the most success as he's so bad at drawing that he has stopped drawing and literally just photoshops AI output now)

Dragaux be like “hold my smoothie”
But seriously don’t underestimate the power of this evergreen’s long term sales potential. People love to exercise. This game will sell well into switch 2 lifespan.

Funny that PS5 software sales are so bad that Stellar Blade is seen as a huge success for them when it will sell less than low scale Peach showtime, a very minor Nintendo release in Japan.

Yeah, I'd love to buy it too.

Only it's discontinued in my region.
