WHY ARE YOU YELLING?!?!

(edit: Well now that the title has been edited now I'm yelling D:)

If this is what leads to owning a Blu-ray of Moon Knight, Ms Marvel and She-Hulk then so be it!

Hang on, just gotta check the Disney Movie Club mega thread on the bluray forums to see how they are handling this news.

Here's a report from a website that actually loads!

From Deadline: Disney Reaches Deal With Sony Pictures Home Entertainment For Its Physical Media Production

Disney has reached a deal with Sony under which the latter’s home entertainment division will handle all Disney releases on DVD and Blu-ray as well as all physical media production.

It’s the latest sign of the decline of the physical disc trade. Netflix last fall unplugged its foundational disc-by-mail service and revenue from disc sales has continued to decline markedly in the streaming era, as indicated this month in a 2023 recap by the Digital Entertainment Group, a trade consortium.

The two studios declined to comment when contacted by Deadline.

I really don't see physical media dying out completely, but at this point it looks like it's just going to be a collector's exclusive market under monopolies squeezing every drop out from everybody who wants physical goods.
