do we have an estimate for how many of these were sold in Japan versus other regions?
 
I finally managed to finish this a few days ago. I had a lot of fun with it and would recommend it to those looking for something pokemon adjacent. I'm glad to see that it appears to be a success.

the game has sold 525k physical copies in japan, while being out of stock and hard to get since launch. with digital on top of that i think it's safe to say around 700-800k of the 1 million comes from japan.
 
oh, nice to hear! always glad when DQ does well. i wonder if the stock problems persist in japan and that’s why it has dropped so low on famitsu charts?

Not surprising that Japan sales made up a big chunk of the total, but still happy to see it sold well.
It’s a fun game! Not the most polished in looks or structure, but I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it.

(Given my 100 hour playtime and complete “Pokedex”, I certainly got my money’s worth)
