the hot air is normal. could be that you happened on a system with poor paste applicationMaybe a new one. Because I can feel hot air coming from the top and fan is spinning more than usual.
XC3 is the only game where it happens. In other games fan is at min speed and air is just a little warm.the hot air is normal. could be that you happened on a system with poor paste application
Your media links seem to be broken or don't work for some reason.Honestly having tested the game on my CX with the mClassic on and off, the difference isn't as noticeable as with other games considering my viewing distance. Whatever upsampling solution they used works pretty well, turning up my sharpness is enough to compensate for some of the softness.
Still, I keep it on to cleanup the edges which it does do. Left off, right on.
Thanks - I ought to have checked in a private browser window, should be working now.Your media links seem to be broken or don't work for some reason.
Depends on the game. I played Zombie Army 4 (a graphically very impressive game on Switch) before and fan blew as strong as in XC3.XC3 is the only game where it happens. In other games fan is at min speed and air is just a little warm.
I'm no hardware expert but I speculate that the switch is held back by battery and overheating concerns despite having better specs than the wiiuWhile I do recognize the technical steps forward in things like reflections, cloud rendering, motion blur, etc, I can sorta see why some are disappointed in Monolith's engine on Switch; I reached 3's forest area tonight and it looks way worse than Noctilum did on weaker hardware in Xenoblade Chronicles.
We can see from plenty of other games that the Switch surpasses the Wii U in realworld performance too, even with its low wattage. Almost every Wii U to Switch port or Switch sequel to a Wii U game shows technical improvement, for example.I'm no hardware expert but I speculate that the switch is held back by battery and overheating concerns despite having better specs than the wiiu
yeah could be that too, at the cost of pop inWe can see from plenty of other games that the Switch surpasses the Wii U in realworld performance too, even with its low wattage. Almost every Wii U to Switch port or Switch sequel to a Wii U game shows technical improvement, for example.
Monolith Soft just struck a better balance of effects, image quality, asset quality, framerate, and art direction in Xenoblade Chronicles X than in 2 or 3, in my humble opinion.
