this is pretty much the end result of Atari's acquisition of the game (alongside other Stern titles) back in March. a proper revival.

re-releases of the original game are still currently limited to a one-off reprint of the 2600 version, though. but it'll probably get fixed soon.

As someone who grew up playing Berzerk on the 2600, this displeased me to no end.

The original was basic AF, but required pacing and thought in order to progress and stack your score.

This looks like a Smash TV-esque, wannabe bullet hell mobile game.
