There's a notable animal sanctuary that deals with bears that can't be released into the wild, due to various reasons. The ones they raised as cubs, they have a really close relationship with, while the ones they rescued in adulthood, while they have an okay relationship with, not as close as the ones raised as cubs.

Here's one of their videos of them brushing Maddy down and she is just needy as all can be, haha:




Since bears can get matting like dogs and other animals, does need to be done, but as you can see... She loves it a lot, even starts to do the leg thing at times that other animals do too!
