Discussion A question for fans of Snipperclips.

Sorry if there was a general question thread already existing where I could ask this in, I couldn't find one.

Does anyone know if the Blue and Purple characters from Snipperclips Plus have names? I know Pink and Yellow are Snip and Clip, but I haven't played Plus so I'm not sure about the other two. I figured there's a chance someone on here might know!

the sadly neglected snipperclips wiki has a page that calls the purple one “Clipper” which is probably completely made up but if we wanted to extrapolate from that, perhaps the blue one can be “Snipper”

Oh really? I thought 4-player multiplayer was something they only added in Plus?

If no one does know then I might just ask one of the directors of the game directly on Twitter. But I don't want to do that if its actually named in game! Feels a little embarassing haha

They added more four player stuff but there was always four player modes originally, yeah.

I decided to go directly to the source to get this answered and so I asked Adam Vian, Director of Snipperclips, what the duo were called and he said they didn't have names during development but neither did Snip & Clip until it came to promote the game. So he has named them Trim & Crop. There we go, the mystery has been solved.

Now that Crow Country is about to launch, maybe they'll get started on a Snipperclips 2. Would be neat.
