Anyone who goes over to the Roost may have seen I'm a big college sports fan, so this is incredibly excting for me. Can't wait to see the reveal.

Is it like Madden but with different teams or more some kind of FIFA Street version of Madden?
 
Still waiting to see some actual gameplay. I can't stand modern Madden, so a re-skinned Madden has little interest to me.

NCAA 14 is probably the last football game that I truly enjoyed.

Hope it's a good game. Wonder if this could be a testbed for huge Madden changes (physics, game mechanics, etc.)

I pray they move to a full RTGI pipeline, but that won't happen until they dump last gen

I know people clown on (yearly) Sports games for being super similar every year but damn the scope alone of a lot of these is impressive and should not be forgotten
 
I really hope this comes out on PC or switch (the latter feels VERY unlikely) Otherwise I need to actually get a PS5

I’d do it, but I really don’t want to spend $400 minimum for 1 game and maybe earlier access to some PS exclusives

I'm told all the bowl games will be in EA Sports College Football 25. The announcements are starting to trickle out. (The CFP has already announced it's in the game).

Looks like active players will be on the covers instead of just the most recent Heisman winner.
 
I cannot wait for this game. They are talking the talk and seem to exude genuine passion for the sport and it's traditions for each team.

Wonder how many tiers of announcers they’ll do, since that’s a good amount of work to record. If I recall, back in the day you got Kirk and the gang for anything considered televised, and just standard field noise and generic stadium announcer for smaller games. Would be cool if they had a student production crew like they do for smaller games, since basically every game is now televised or streamed at least somewhere.

Give me a crew that's clearly watching the game from monitors in a studio 300 miles away because the teams involved aren't all that special.
 
Please, please announce a PC version, I really don’t want to buy a PS5 for one game…

    Hype is lowering. What the heck are college football points? No PC version. I was ready to fully be bought in, but now I need to see more of the game before I can really get excited again.

    I do wish this was on PS4/One. I know those consoles are old, but it just feels wrong to not be able to play college football on an entire generation of consoles.

    Especially when PS4 couldn't play PS3 games. Pretty ironic.
     
    if they're gonna make this current gen only, there better fucking be RTGI or something. sports games are really bad with character lighting

    and no PC? EA still fucking up
