No. Own both multiple times and that's enough for me.

Absolutely not. Wind Waker HD is a really ugly version of the game and while Twilight Princess is good, both games look better elsewhere.
WW I can understand but TP looks atrociously blurry on the Wii. I was able to enjoy the game for the first time on the Wii U because I could actually see what was going on.

That's true, but there are other places to play your legally dumped Wii files 😎

Yes, but I probably won't rush to play them. The want for this "collection" everyone called inevitable has kinda passed.

I’ve been waiting for these ports ever since the Wii U ports were pouring in. I’m so surprised I’m still waiting lol.

Only if the Wind Waker and Twilight Princess releases on Switch satisfy at least two of these three requirements:

1) Big Improvements to the games themselves

2) Cheap price for each game individually

3) A bundle including both

A $60 re-release for each individual game is a big no.

So in other words, no. No, probably not. At least at launch. :-D

Both games for one 60 dollar package? Probably, or maybe I'd wait for it to hit 40-50.

No. I've already played both. If I wanted to replay them I'd do it with the versions I already own.

I've been wanting to replay both games a lot as I never played the Wii U versions. I own them but don't want to dust off my old Wii U to play them so I continue to hope Nintendo will release the two games on Switch. Disappointing they haven't done so yet.

I would love a double pack, but Nintendo knows they can still sell each of those for 60 bucks a pop

Nah. WW and TP were entertaining for their time, but their time is done.

I love the franchise and own both games on several platforms, but I'm not sure I'd buy them again.

...A remake of Link to the Past with Link's Awakening HD engine on the other side...

I'll definitely get them since I've never played either, like Skyward Sword. If there somehow is a collection, it won't be day 1. I learned my lesson with 3D-All Stars.

I’ll follow-up and say I’d pay $60 for just Twilight Princess alone. Not really itching for Wind Waker.

The flaw in this question is that a double pack will never happen. Expect two separate, $60 releases, if anything at all.

That said, if there were a magical two pack, I'm still waiting until it's on sale for $30 or less. I have both of these on Wii U and I doubt they would add much more on Switch to be worth it, and in fact would lose the nice inventory management of the gamepad.

would I buy a double pack? Yes.

Would I buy them separately? No, I’ll probably only buy WWHD. MAYBE I’ll buy TPHD later if it goes on sale (which is rare in Canada).

Yes, because I've never played either of them, but always been curious.

I never got Wind Waker HD on WiiU, and TP is my favorite pre-BoTW Zelda. Feels like a solid yes.

I haven’t owned them since the original releases and my only way to play my copies is my Wii which I’m not even sure still works (or has any working controllers). So yeah, probably.

If it’s £80-£90…maybe not.

Yes, I would love to play Wind Waker portably on my Switch; Twilight Princess on the other hand was kind of boring.

0
Probably not, at least not right away. I got my Wii U copies and they were just fine, and if I want the GC visuals for Wind Waker I got that version ready to go.

...but if they made them 60 FPS like SSHD? That'd be definitive enough for me to consider them more readily.

As an addendum, I’ll note that I’ve have both of the HD versions on Wii U for years but haven’t progressed beyond the early game in either (Forsaken Fortress and the mandatory fishing bit).

Windwaker for sure. Not a huge fan of TPs artstyle. WW gc version would be still playable in 100 years. It's like cup head. Timeless.

Let's be honest. Nintendo will release them separately and charge $60 for each game.

Will I buy them? Yes. Will I'll be mad and disappointed that Nintendo didn't try to improve the game's appearances? Yes.

Twilight Princess HD being given the short hand of the stick in it's remake when they moved development to studio Tantalus Media still insults me to this day. That game deserved the same treatment Nintendo gave to Wind Waker HD.

Stop with the unenhanced ports and charging full price. Just update your damn games, the trash that was Skyward Sword port shouldn't be the damn standard.

I think I'd buy it just for TP. It's a top three all-time game for me so I feel obligated to own it in every form it releases in.

I wouldn't buy one for OoT 3D/MM 3D upscaled, and I didn't buy the SS Remaster either. I think TP is the only Zelda game I'd buy a straight Switch port of.

Sure, I owned Twilight Princess on Wii, but I'd love to own it on Switch to be able to play it nowadays (I no longer have my Wii or any of the games). I never owned Winder Waker, but I borrowed it back in the day, so I'd love to actually own it now. I'd actually love to just have the entire back catalogue of Zelda games on the Switch (one can dream, right lol)

Despite owning both on GC/Wii/WiiU I would instantly get them both again. Playing Windwaker and TP on the go would be just too tempting. I might get them on sale though.

Skyward Sword got enhanced visuals and performance, better controls and streamlined tutorials, which were some of the biggest complaints people had about the original game and demand a lot of time and work. Calling it trash or unenhanced... well, some might dislike the structure of the game and i perfectly understand if that's your case, but it's not a remake.

I would buy them in whatever form they take; however, WWHD is really gonna be a step back if they don’t find a way to get the Tingle Bottle mechanic working in a world without Miiverse.

That was such a great way to make a single player game feel like a communal experience.

I know Nintendo’s pricing strategy, but I really do think double pack is the way they go with these. These are ports that have already happened, them coming to switch is thus a lesser event since they’ve already made the jump once.

double pack would inject some excitement.

Either that or they’re both not gonna be $60

They don’t wanna flood the market with $60 Zelda games.

What's interesting is that there are other potential ways this could go as well. It seems generally expected that these will release, and that they will be separate, $60 each. That doesn't mean they couldn't put together packages that offer a bit more for the price.

Twilight Princess, for instance, could include Link's Crossbow Training, which admittedly probably isn't enough to particularly register on most people's radar.

Wind Waker, however, would have an easier time with this by including the immediately Wind Waker-related game Phantom Hourglass and perhaps going further and including Spirit Tracks.
Perhaps it could even bring back the Tingle Tuner. I found the removal of the Tuner in Wind Waker HD, where the hardware was all included for the content to function without needing a separate console and cords, baffling.

Graphical touchups could be possible as well, though there's the question of how much time and budget would be put into that. I think a lot of people would appreciate a Twilight Princess where the stylization is tweaked, something more akin to the Wii U tech demo.
Wind Waker is a bit trickier here, considering it already received a moderately controversial graphical overhaul during its Wii U phase.

They certainly wouldn't have to just be straight ports.

Also, I assume Link can return to being left handed in these. That's also worth the price of admission.
