does this count as a Nintendo Direct announcement?

for those who missed when it first dropped back in 2011, it was bad.


badly smoothed out + choppy graphics, flip-screen scrolling, and microtransactions. it's surprising that Capcom even remembered it existed.
i suspect the problems were likely because it was ported from an older flip phone to iOS, as the J2ME version of Mega Man has similar scrolling issues.

while it's nice to see it exist from a preservation standpoint, you really have plenty of better options here. any mid-tier phone could emulate both the SNES original and the far better PSP remake easily, and Megaman X Dive provides an original MMX experience for free.
