i think classic "B Games" like this have a much longer impression than people think, compare it to Sexy Hiking and how it would later inspire Bennet Foddy to create "Getting over it" in 2017.

the video also goes into the decline in popularity of adventure games in the early 2000s, and how it lead to the small cottage community of devs like the Owl Quest creator to create their own ones.
