It was locked on the service for almost three years, and this actually adds more content on top.
An all new stage (with extra final boss), two new difficulty settings, a speedrun mode, an arcade mode, and numerous balance changes.

In general, we seem to be getting a fairly good track record of devs porting games onto other platforms once the Apple deal expires. Which is important as they are utterly notorious for completely wrecking backwards compatibility often, from disabling 32-bit app support to forcing Mac owners to jump away from Intel processors after several years of support.
Unofficially preserving these games is also rather difficult, due to their digital-only nature and lack of interest.
 
Ooh very cool! Missed this one on Apple Arcade, for what ever reason.

As an aside and tangentially related, I know it might be difficult with the control scheme (which to be fair, works really well on iPhone), but I really want to see Clap Hanz Golf arrive on more platforms. Such a great golf game.
