Discussion Nintendo's employee retention rate in Japan is 98.8%

This goes hand in hand with the recent articles about how something like Tears of the Kingdom and Super Mario Wonder were made possible because Nintendo actually keeps their senior talent around.

I don't know why a single employee leaving and ruining what could have been a perfect 100% retention is so funny to me. Like 98.8% is absolutely outstanding and pretty much unheard of, really speaks to how great a place NCL is to work and drives home how important that lack of turnover is when it comes to creating games. But I also can't help but imagine one exec being secretly annoyed by it after they see the data, quietly grumbling about being so close to perfection.
