News Nintendo composer and sound director Koji Kondo to be honored at the 27th Annual DICE Awards

Well, they only add one person to the hall of fame per year, and after the first few DICE pivoted hard to honoring executives and less so designers. Kondo will be the first recognized for art/music.
 
The fact that Koji Kondo has not yet been recognized in this way is solid evidence that awards are doo-doo. But STILL. Congrats to a legend.
 
So, is he gonna be told to "Wrap it up" when he goes on the stage?

Jokes aside, this is a wonderful honor to an absolute legend.
