I can understand GX's techno style being disliked by people, but I'm not willing to let the GBA OSTs get overlooked.Oh there was plenty of music after the SNES that was good.
On the N64.

I will not accept this GX soundtrack slander. It was going for a different vibe but it's still great.
That being said the answer is the MK8 arrangements of both. Just phenomenal stuff. I actually think I like the versions of F-Zero songs in Mario Kart and Smash more than in the actual games. X had the best arrangements but it's held back by the N64's sound capabilities.

If you play F Zero GX, the music makes sense. That game is godly. A masterpiece. Absolutely beautiful. Ahhhhh

To be fair to GX, I'm not seriously saying the OST is bad, I just like the SNES and N64's that much better. If I didn't have those to compare to I'd vibe much better with the GX soundtrack, I think.
