How often did you rent video games and/or consoles?

For whatever reason my parents wouldn't allow any kind of rentals when I was a kid, likely missed out on quite a few experiences this way but I at least had PS1 demo discs to tide me over a little bit

I've never rented a game. Occasionally I used to take advantage of EB / Game's allowing people to bring a game back for a refund within a few days if it wasn't to their liking.
