Damn... dude was a legend. His acting as Freeza was so fucking good. My heart goes out to his family. RIP
 


Extremely tragic loss not just because of his age but he was supposed to be turning a corner on his condition. The English equivalent of Ryusei Nakao who did just as fantastic of a job bringing such an iconic villain to life. He will surely be missed.
 


Ayres was the first time the English dub finally got a performance that was able to match and sometimes even surpass the OG Nakao's for me.

He will most definitely be missed.

He was a fantastic Freeza and felt like more than a worthy alternative to the iconic Ryusei Nakao, which is no small feat.

RIP to one of the greatest who ever did it. As someone who usually perfers subs, DBZ will always feel more right dubbed in thanks in no small part to Ayers

Rest in peace. Dragon Ball Super Broly was a top tier theatrical experience and it wouldn't have happened without him.
