(the source repo)

you'll need a (US) copy of the game stored alongside the excutable to run (and load data off) it, of course.
as noted, it's very unfinished at this point. only being available as uncompiled source code for now.
several levels crash when loaded, there's plenty of graphical glitches, and there's zero enhancements aside from some basic mouse aiming.

but it'll likely reach the same level of polish as the unofficial Mario 64 and Ocarina of Time ports in the coming months.

Ohoho, this is great. Once the project gets rolling and adding new enhancements and features, this might become amazing. Online multiplayer? Recovering the Gameboy Camera Perfect Face option?

Still hoping for a PC decompilation of F-Zero X + Expansion Pack over here, though.

You know Krvavi at some point I'm just going to believe you're the one doing all this stuff

now mostly playable

yeah, that was fast. pretty much everything works now without crashes or major graphical bugs.

it's noticably lacking in areas beyond the game's default feature set though. various important settings (such as FOV, mouse sensitivity, remapping inputs, and launching in full-screen) require manually editing an .ini file. and the default controls are mapped 1;1 with an N64 gamepad.

this usually works without issue, but crouching is unintuitively a button combo (holding the aim button while moving down) rather having it's own key like the 360 port. i also couldn't figure out how to map the side mouse buttons to anything.
