News Super Mario Oreos Up for Preorder

Sigh, I donā€™t even want these diet-busting Oreos, but I must have them. Pre-ordering cookies was not on my 2023 bingo card.

(The Leaf Brand reboot of Hydrox cookies are better than Oreos)
 
Part of me find it amusing at the idea of licensed food, because on one hand, it's lucrative to see limited-edition food being made and so the taste of it is a novelty even though it's more of the same. On the other hand, the fact that it's limited means that there may be a hesitancy in eating it in hopes that they may fetch a high price as the years go by. Therefore, making it ironically only valued as a collectible item rather than being food which it's designed as.

It's like that Shadow the Hedgehog cheese, I guess.

You're going to regret it once you can't find any on store shelves. You'll be hitting the limited release black market. How many packs of Mario Oreos do you think a Pyra Amiibo would trade for?

Yeah I had no trouble getting that or the Pokemon Oreos so I'm fine with waiting.

Worst case i will just pretend that I got them and ate them.

First Famicom Detective Club and now these Oreos. Nintendo really blocks us from using vouchers on the best things.

Believe it or not, I saw it. Every time I order from a website I donā€™t normally order from, I google promo codes just in case. I didnā€™t not briefly consider the possibility of buying 16 packages of Oreos.

ive only ever purchased girl scout cookies from the friendly neighborhood scouts outside my local grocery stores

i had them money, they hand me boxes of samoas and thin mints. no preordering involved.

I strongly recommend everyone get these if you happen to see them, but not because of the dumbass mario characters

limited edition oreos are the freshest god damned oreos, they're leagues ahead

when you first see the red christmas ones in fucking october snap em up for the same reason
