Damn I actually missed out on the edgy spin cause I was playing too much Ring Racers instead, so forgive me if I'm off in the future on saying which effect is available next.
But as of right now, the rainbow boost pattern is now available, and is a much easier unlock than that spin attack one. Just play 25 races! Bit early for Pride Month, but eh.

They haven’t been obtainable yet, right? I ask because they’re listed before the sparkly purple boost and spin that have currently been made available via the limited-time challenges, so I just wanna be absolutely certain that I didn’t miss those because I need them, lol.

The boost should be available now, and the spin should start appearing next week, so check if they're available for you, the anti-FOMO system may throw things off for you.
 
I finally got 1st with every machine at least once...why was the Fire Stingray such a struggle? 😭

Anyway, I feel good. I got the rainbow boost as well, it looks nicer than I expected.

Is there a set schedule to which Grand Prix cups happen at specific hours? I need to play the normal Knight and King cups (not Mirror) to knock out some challenges, but rather than try to remember to check the game every hour, it’d be nice if I could just know in advance what times those specific cups will appear.
 
I want the rainbow shit so bad but anti-fomo is screwing me

The new rotation, starting each day at Midnight UTC, is:

mKnight > Queen > mKing > Knight > mQueen > King

That rotation will repeat four times each weekday, so each day will have the same GPs at the same times.

We don't know the weekend schedule yet, but hopefully it's just the same rotation squeezed into half-hour intervals, so that the same GP order will repeat every 3 hours. Fingers crossed...

Thanks! I tried searching for the answer online but could only find old schedules that don’t take into account the new Mirror cups.

I'm a bit surprised they took this long to release any cherry blossom like cosmetics. The boost looks nice, especially with the pink/blue/white colors on your machine.

At least I still have a ton of the lucky chance backgrounds to get. I currently do 5 races every single morning before work just for those.

(I also have other things related to, like, winning a GP, but I mostly mean stuff we can all get)

I'm still hoping for a physical release like Tetris 99, would love to have a new F-Zero physically in the collection.

I have all the limited challenges except for one spin cosmetic.

Oh, easy. That's when they announce the DLC with those modes that were datamined at launch, paired with a physical release and offline mode

Or that's just when they decide they're done, set everything to repeat, and move onto something else
 
Glad other people have stepped in to fill my role of talking about the limited time cosmetics, I've fallen out of the game and have been waiting for some kind of refresh of tracks to get me back in. The back to back of Ring Racers and TTYD certainly hasn't helped that, and the upcoming back to back of Monkey Ball and Aero GPX is gonna hurt that even more.

Ohh, I hope this really gets patched in! It would be so fun!

If they had some kind of offline mode like that, maybe they could do a boxed release like they did for Tetris99!
