there's a whole bunch of games they could up up, so that's definitely not the case. this is just promotion for the world tournamentAre they running out of games or something...?
doubt it has anything to do with falcom. they have to work with NISA to make something like this happen. Is Ys VIII the first JRPG to go on NSO free trial? Very interesting to see a Falcom game get this kind of treatment considering their history
I believe Disgaea 5 was the first one if you count it as that.Is Ys VIII the first JRPG to go on NSO free trial? Very interesting to see a Falcom game get this kind of treatment considering their history
I wouldn't be mad if they were running out of games so they can put Damon X Machina on free trial again so I can finally play that game....Huh. That's the 2nd time Pokken's been the trial in NA. I should know, the game finally went on sale for the first time ever in NA when it happened and I bought it then!

Nah we've had DQ Builders 2 and Disgaea 5 beforeIs Ys VIII the first JRPG to go on NSO free trial? Very interesting to see a Falcom game get this kind of treatment considering their history
Can I beat Ys VIII in 7 days??

NISA handles these so Falcom doesn't have much to say. the switch version isn't even published by Falcom in japanA Falcom game on NSO free trial is certainly a turn-around for the Falcom-Nintendo relationship.
Thanks!! I'm already downloading it!! Will play it a lot and try to finish the story. If you are not a completionist , totally doable (IRC it's about 30-40 hours for a casual gameplay)
Falcom is doing stuff like Nayuta on switch and while their more power-focused games will definitely stick to PS4/5 for as long as they can, I don't think they'll be able to ignore Switch completely and hopefully they'll at least work to do more day and date ports of stuff, or original experiences for the system. Can't say I blame them for how Ys V really, really soured them on Nintendo, even though the game is excellent and I'd love a remake.NISA handles these so Falcom doesn't have much to say. the switch version isn't even published by Falcom in japan
