StarTopic YAKUZA / LIKE A DRAGON COMMUNITY |ST| A FAMIBOARDS CLAN SUBSIDIARY

I know it’s pretty blatant bad game design, but I can’t help but love the giant level spike. It’s very fitting considering who the boss fight is against.

The inability to save and grind for it in-dungeon blows though.

Asking here because I can't think of anywhere else: did anyone else have an issue with placing paths in Dondoko? No matter what I do it says "please connect the paths" even if using tiles bought from Matayoshi, when I line it up with the main road it says "please make more space between paths". The answer I found on Reddit didn't work (restarting from a blank slate) and this is making me go crazy

EDIT: Nevermind, I figured it out! I'm just stupid

Not much of a story here, but I thought it was interesting they have a new game coming up next and then expect to make Yakuza Kiwami 3 soonish.

Hyped for the Dragon Engine rendition of Okinawa.

I actually hope they will make it bigger and find a way to make the player spend more time there, but would probably be a bit out of the usual scope of the Kiwami remakes.

Kiwami 3 was a given, really.

Played the game a few years back due to the Remastered Collection and that game is rough. I’m talking the technical side of things, as the early PS3 roots make it hard to enjoy.

4 and 5 are easier to play, so they don’t need remakes imo.

I played 3 for the first time a few months back and it was difficult to get past how dated the game was. It really does need the Kiwami treatment.

Kiwami 3 would be a great time to address the retconning surrounding some of the “deaths” too. Kashiwagi, Richardson, and Lau Ka Long all “died” in 3.

A Kashiwagi Gaiden game set after the events of 3 would go hard.

Would be totally okay with the Kashiwagi thing.

One of the most frustrating parts about of both LAD and especially Infinite Wealth was the return of Kashiwagi. I love the character and happy to see him alive, I just hate how he and Kiryu are talking to each other other. Just give me a scene of the two giving manly handshakes, happy to see each other around.

Especially when in the same game you have Akiyama confronting Kiryu and Date, with the latter being miffed as fudge when Kiryu wants to play “you have mistaken me for someone else” card. “Don’t do that, I know who you are Kiryu”
