Who is the Best "Herald of Ganon/Demise?"

Ganondorf is the absolute number one villain of the Zelda series. There's also a lot of love for other villains who show up in the handful of games where Ganon doesn't have a presence, like Vaati and the Skull Kid. But there's another class of villain in the Zelda series: The Herald. Heralds are villains who work toward either bringing about the return of Ganon (Or his previous form, Demise) or attempt to claim his power for themselves.

By my count, these are the Heralds:

AGAHNIM (A Link to the Past)

ZANT (Twilight Princess)

GHIRAHIM (Skyward Sword)

ONOX (Oracle of Seasons) and VERAN (Oracle of Ages)

YUGA (A Link Between Worlds)

ASTOR (Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity)

Ghirahim is the best example of this archetype, and the only one who is a better and more memorable character than his master.

If I can't vote for Skull Kid/Majora then it's Ghirahim, he carried Skyward Sword along with Groose. Zant was ruined by being a herald tbh

Yeah Ghirahim has this in the bag as a character.

I didn’t love his first two boss fights, because of the initial phase, but the final confrontation where

he goes full Senator Armstrong

is pretty great.

Though I have a soft spot for Agahnim, I've always enjoyed the magician approach of the character.
