I actually think Team Cherry could announce the Silksong's release date at the end of this year, and have it release in February.Idk why but I’m feeling like Cuphead DLC would be a holiday 2021 release, Indie World shadowdrop. It’s still technically supposed to come out this year, otherwise early 2022 for sure alongside the Netflix series
Silksong I think would be a late 2022/early 2023 title. It definitely looked like it was almost ready during E3 2019 but I guess that they are carefully making sure that it has a similar scale to the original including its expansions, probably.
tbf it seems like both The Last Course and Silksong are both DLCs that have expanded their scope far more than expected and so far we have seen way more of Silksong even it's been awhile. Would be dope if both came out next year tho.Cuphead is still apparently a DLC so I lean towards that. Silksong is a lot larger in scope.
silksong will get a release date trailer at the game awards with an early 2022 date
honestly i'm very surprised they're still planning to release the delicious last course as DLC for cuphead. i was almost sure it had turned into a full blown sequel by this point.
yeah, but iirc last time they talked about it the still insisted it was dlc, and they've delayed the physical release of cuphead because they want to release a complete version (game+dlc).I mean, it very well still might. I wouldn't be surprised.
Silksong was originally DLC for Hollow Knight as one of the original stretch goals in 2014. Hollow Knight released in February 2017, and in February 2019 they announced the scope of Silksong had expanded to the point it'd be a full sequel.
Cuphead DLC was announced at E3 2018 and they've pretty much been silent on it ever since. At least we've seen Silksong.
To be fair, Team Cherry said Covid did not impact them much.A shadow drop silksong would be cool in a early 2022 nintendo direct. But hopefully both happen next year. My guess is silk song first and cuphead after but who knows. Idm tho that they are taking their time especially since the pandemic hit alot of devs and indie devs.
Oh neat! Glad to hear.To be fair, Team Cherry said Covid did not impact them much.
