UK boxed charts week ending Oct. 9 (GamesIndustryBiz)
FIFA '22 took #1 slot. Boxed shows a dip but including digital will surpass sales of FIFA '21 for first week. Far Cry 6 is #2. Boxed sales are 70% lower than Far Cry 5 from March 2018, digital sales could balance that out. 47% of sales were for PS5, 29% Xbox platform, and 24% PS4. Metroid Dread is at #3 and digital sales should make it the fastest selling Metroid title in the UK, boxed is 1000 units shy of beating Metroid Prime for the GameCube. Super Monkey Ball: Banana Mania was at #8 and doubled Banana Blitz HD sales from October 2019. 70% of sales were from the Nintendo Switch! OLED Switch had an impact on Switch sales which were up 26% from the previous week.
